Start by searing the meat in the pan then add your veggies and cover with the included vented tempered glass lid or move the whole pan right into the oven (up to 500 F). The tempered glass lid is clear to prevent overcooking and has reinforced stainless-steel rims for added durability. A sliding lever in the knob opens for optional venting.
