This knife is made of premium quality stainless steel. This standard cleaver is designed for chopping through thin and soft bones. Cleavers are not used for cutting through thick, hard bones - instead, it is recommended that you use a band saw, or a manual bone handsaw.
The knife's broad side can also be used for crushing food (such as garlic).
