Slate is a natural material and each piece has its own characteristics. In addition to the marks, lines and veins, which are exposed as the product is shaped, there may also be some variations in colour and speckles. Each piece of slate is uniquely beautiful. Because of the nature of
slate, some cheeses may leave dark spots on the board if left for a prolonged period of time. If this happens, simply wipe the entire
board with olive oil otherwise this board can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
